Tumblewalla

Fall 2015

This collection was inspired by India's festivals. A team consisting of four people--Founder, Print and Pattern Designer, Creative Manager (me) and an intern- collaborated to come to these final designs.

I was lucky enough to design the silhouette of each garment and work with our incredible Print and Pattern Designer to put the collection together while minding fabric minimums and salability

Tumblewalla Spring 2015

This collection was inspired by elements of nature. I assisted with trend analysis and gathering information regarding plants and insecets commonly found in India's ecosystem. From there, the group of four mentioned above, collaborated and arrived at these final designs.

Again, I was able to design the silhouettes and work along side our Print and Pattern Designer to put the collection together like a puzzle.

Tumblewalla Fall 2014

This was the first collection I designed for Tumblewalla. It was inspired by India's vibrant outdoor markets. We were infulenced by the beautiful colors in their local spices. We unified the line by creating a seed shape that was used throughout the collection.

Once again, I was fourtunate enough to work with our excellent Print and Pattern Designer.

French Florals

This line is inspired by my study abroad experience in London. I paired gorgeous floral prints with elements from the French Revolution period to give the garments a fun, romantic look.

Showed looks in: Omaha Fashion Week &

NASA

This garment was designed for an astronaut on a space station. It alerts the wearer using three senses simultaneously in case of an emergency. The garment uses, flashing lights, vibrating motors, and an alarm.

A framework was created to determine the user's needs and extensive testing was done to establish the most effective placement for each type of alarm.

Various Projects

First Project: Cloud Clothing

A collection of soft, fun, satin garments. Designed for women ages 20-25 who are looking for unique pieces for a night on the town. OptiTex, a CAD program was used to pattern and virtually fit each item.

Second Project: Urban Dress

This dress was designed for Urban Outfitters. I used vintage floral prints and a sheer purple chiffon for the overskirt.

Third Project: Cupcake Corset

This corset was designed in London while I studied abroad. It's a 17th century period corset with a modern twist. I designed it to look like a cupcake using cream colored satin with a light pink chiffon over it to mimic a paper liner. Pink satin was draped on top imitate frosting. I then hand beaded small beads that look like sprinkles on top of the "frosting".
